Hi Alfia

I am sorry to hear you are no longer interested in Debtline.

The reason for our calls was following on from our conversation with you on the 28th May. We are still missing some vital information for your creditors, which we needed to make sure that the plan could run smoothly for you.

I have now cancelled your plan with us, and really wish you the best for the future.

Kind Regards.

Hi krzysztof,

Thanks for posting.

When you join Debt Line, and you send pack your signed form, we send out letters to all of your creditors, letting them know that we are working on your behalf, showing them a breakdown of all your money in and out on bills and living and an offer of payment that you can afford and we also ask that they freeze or reduce interest.

When it comes to freezing and reducing interest, the final decision comes down to your creditors, however if they refuse to do this, they must provide a real valid reason, or this can be viewed as obstruction from you getting debt free. If they are doing this, a formal complaint can be made to the Financial Ombudsman, they work through banking complaints like these and did you know 7 out of 10 of these complaints are upheld!

What we need you to do, is to keep evidence of the interest being put on at the normal rate, if they are doing this for more than 3 months, we have a possible case for complaint. Please keep your statements showing this and politely but firmly ask them to remove this and we will do the same. Then if this continues, we can provide you with the forms to make the complaint and all the information you will need.

Kind Regards

Hi all,

It's great to hear we are helping you change your lives. I was wondering if anybody would like to be included in our very first newsletter?

Each of the quarterly newsletters will, I hope, include case studies from our customers, giving their stories and how we have helped them. We would all be really pleased if you could get involved. We are really excited about the very first newsletter that should be launched later this month.

If you are interested please let me know by replying to kim.madley@rgroup.co.uk with information on how we have changed your life since you have been with us!

Many thanks,

Kim Madley,
Brand Manager,
Debt Line

I am pleased to hear that we have made a difference in changing all your lives. We set this as our mission about 4 months ago when I re-evaluated our values as a company. What I like about setting our mission as Changing our Clients Lives, is that it didn't come from me, but came from the amount of calls I listened to where our clients were thanking us for 'Changing their Life' (this was before we had the open forum).

It makes us all proud to know that every day we come to work we actually make a difference to our clients during these hard times.

On behalf of everyone from Debt Line I would like to say thank you, your feedback both positive and constructive criticism is more then welcome.

Regards,

Trevor Franckeiss
