Hi all,

I have just made an update to the Debt Line online site. You can now view and update your personal information, contact details and address. The other feature, the one that I love is the paper statements opt out feature. There is a new button in the statements section that allows you to stop receiving your paper statements every month.

Thank you all again for the positive feedback, if you have any problems, ideas, must haves please reply here and I will do my best to see if we can get them in on our new online service.

SO far the ability to manage my account online has proven great. There are a couple of short comings though that maybe you could add?
- A way to update payments being made from my account, for some reason I am still paying creditors who have been payed more than I owe them
- A way to contact you guys via email, I work anti social hours and am rarely able to call you during your working hours so email is my only option and I cannot find a way to get through
- Usernames, this one is a bit petty but my name is spelt wrong, is it intentional?

Other than those little things I am so happy to be online and really thrilled that you made sure to text me all the details I need so I could get online quickly

My name is Darren and I run the IT department at Debt Line. It is great to have constructive feedback from our customers. In answer to your suggestions, we are in the process of completing additional features that will allow you to have more control over your account.

Until we can provide you these features please contact your account management team to stop those creditors being paid.

We will be continually adding features here over the coming months. I really like your suggestion about direct email contact. I will have a chat on Monday with the Trevor (Debt Line MD) to see what we can do here. After I have had a chat with him I will be back in contact.

And finally, your username, Your username is built from the information we hold about you. If your name has been spelt wrong in the past then this would have been picked up when your account was created. I will look into this on Monday also and will get this resolved.
