Hi Elaine
Welcome to the Debt Line forum!
Ok there are a few different reasons why a creditor may choose to send you a letter of that nature.
1)There have been missed or late payments.
2)The reference number we have saved on our system for that creditor is incorrect.
3)The debt has transferred to another company.
4)You are new to the debt management plan and still within the first 3 months of joining Debt Line.
So looking at your account today I can see that reason 2 is the most relevant to yourself Elaine.
We still need one of your reference numbers for Moorcroft. There are 3 debts with Moorcroft on your plan and unless they have payment and paperwork for all 3 they may still continue to contact you. We need this reference number to ensure that the payments made to Moorcroft are cashed onto your accounts correctly, and also so that they can upload a copy of your signed authority and deal with us instead of you! These have been sent across, but may be being held in a suspense account until they have the right information for all 3 accounts
You can pop this on your online account at home under the 'My Debts' section. The reference number for Moorcroft will start '00.'
Or alternatively Elaine you can call us on 08000 919 991 and one of your account managers can save this information for you.
By doing this, it should stop any further action on your account
Any questions Elaine feel free to respond to this post.
Kind regards,
Cazz
