"A bullying Debt Collextion Agency that hides under the word "Solicitors""

We have recently received a letter from CK Edrupt & Co Solicitors that is full of lies. We think that it's intent was to bully us into committing ourselves into further debt than we are already in and if it wasn't because of the support of Payplan may have done so. The letter states that they act for Provident Personal Credit Ltd and that "Payments are not being received in line with the arrangement or we have had no recent contact with Payplan Ltd and can therefore only assume that they are no longer acting on my behalf. " It then goes on to say that if full payment must be received by 11th Jan 13. and threatens that further action will be taken to recover the debt. We have been in contact with Payplan to ask why they have not been paying the Creditors "Provident" and advised them of the contents of the letter. We was shocked by their reply and think that other may learn from our experience. All this letter means is that "Provident" have passed our debt onto CK Edrupt & Co to take over the debt and try and recover the money now rather than later. The damage that it has done between us as a couple and between us and our debt managing company "Payplan" is extensive. My wife no longer trusts my decision to include her debts with mine under a joint management plan. and we jointly are wandering if Payplan has paid them on the right date or in time.
