CapQuest Debt Recovery

CapQuest Debt Recovery is a debt recovery company.

They buy debt that is in arrears from finance companies, telecommunications suppliers and other companies that you may have fallen behind on your repayments to.

Usually CapQuest will buy debt from creditors for a fraction of what you owe, but like most debt collection companies, they will usually chase you for the full amount.

If you are struggling to repay CapQuest debt,  fill in our simple form on the right and we’ll call you back to see if we can help.

Your initial consultation with one of our debt advisors is free of charge and you will only ever pay a fee if you enter into one of our debt solutions. To find out more about our fees, please click here.

Capquest letters are very intimidating and a form of bullying tactics in order to make people pay. My son is a victim of ID theft and with all the amount of computer technology they should be providing more evidence to prove my son owes this money but no they just provided an agreement with a printed name on it. I will be one who complains to the OFT.

    "contract with vodafone"

I had a contract with vodafone which was a two year contract which was a laptop £25 a month. all of a suddden ,i was not being able to use the net work .i had called vodafone several times to resolve the problem but vodafone was not able to help me with the i called vodafone to terminate the contract because i cannot pay for service that iam using.this laptop is less than £200 and i have paid for more than ten months and now they have sent me a bill of £452 to pay which i donnt agree to pay .i can only pay for the price of the laptop or return the laptop to them because it is not my fault.

I also got hounded by them initially, even when the arrangement to pay was set up they were constantly trying to increase the payments even though i had supplied them with a breakdown and they could see i was paying what i could afford. they eventually gave up when i threatened to report them and from that point were quite reasonable to deal with.My complaint however is that even when my debt was cleared they continued to take money out of my account for 9 months till i realised what was happening and now owe ME a sum of money ( yes i should have checked my statements i know). it has now been over 2 months and there is still no sign of my refund !!! when i phone it's always the same, " the cheque is waiting to be signed " do they honestly expect me to believe in 2 months there has been no-one there who can sign a cheque ??. im quite sure if the boot was on the other foot they would be hassling me for the money

    "Why the bad press???"

Dealt with this lot months ago. They are OK. I do wonder if comments here are truthful. Based upon rumours rather than personal experience? Called up. Made an arrangement.Interest frozen. A few charges IF you break an arrangement, so dont!! Richard G

    "dont touch"

Capquest, are well-known as the worst company amongst the parasitic debt recovery sector (type "capquest debt recovery" into google)... They really are the worst of a bad bunch. If they give you hassle join the many people reporting them to the OFT.
